Mark Thomas Bulloch died suddenly on Monday July 19, 2021. A resident of Summerville, SC, Mark grew up in Georgia and NC as part of a somewhat nomadic family. He graduated from High School in Dalton, Ga and graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Engineering. He had a career in Metallurgy at several aluminum companies including Alumax, and retired from Boeing in North Charleston in 2019.
Mark was married to Maridelia in 1979. He is survived by Maridelia and their sons Daniel Bulloch and William Bulloch. He is survived by brother David Bulloch (Julia) of Aberdeen, NC, sister Susan Bulloch (Nina Layton) of Charlotte, NC, niece Robin Barnes (Aemonn) and Eli, Tyson and Sallie, nephews Marty Bulloch (Meagan) and Ben and Nate, Len Pipkin and Summer, Ginger and Jax. Mark was a devoted father and best friend to his sons. He was a member of St. Theresa, the Little Flower Catholic Church in Summerville, SC and was in the Knights of Columbus. His community knew him as a caring and generous man who was quick with a smile and a joke.
As a boy, he was known for taking apart his toys to see how they worked. He often assembled them back better. He learned the intricacies of mechanical things for fun. He could build and repair anything. He had begun a retirement filled with boat refinishing, kayaking, fishing, auctions and other projects, many of which he shared with son Daniel when his life was cut short.
